About Me

I am very lucky to be married to the love of my life, Lisa, and together we have 4 beautiful children (yes I am biased), an ageing cat called Kittyboo and we live in sunny Bournemouth.

When thinking about my passions it was all too easy to come up with "films" and "cars" and "spending time with the family". Don't get me wrong, I do love watching films and I am a massive petrolhead (soon to be EV head given our direction of travel). But I took some more time to really challenge what it was that I was truly passionate about. 

For me, it was in helping others to learn something new, to find new/better ways of doing things and seeing my hard work achieve a goal I have worked towards. This is what really motivates me to work hard both in and out of the office.

This is why I gain so much pleasure from watching my children grow and develop and being there to guide and support and encourage them. At work, I love to continually question what I am doing, how I am doing it, how we could make it better.

I now better understand why my career has developed the way it has. From my time in the Royal Air Force as an Avionics Technician (problem solving and technical) to a varied career in Financial Services. Planner, Paraplanner, Senior Paraplanner, Paraplanning Team Leader and now my role within Growth and Innovation has really helped me to harness my skills and experience and feed my passion to be a part of change within Financial Services developed from there.
